How to Apply American College of Financial Services?
The USA College offers industry-recognized certifications and designations, including a program qualifying students to sit for the CFP® exam. The USA College is an open-enrollment institution admitting all applicants with a USA high school diploma or equivalent.
The USA College offers a Master’s degree and various graduate level designations and certifications to further your financial services career. Master’s USA degree applicants need a Bachelor's degree from an accredited USA institution.
1 — Make sure you’re eligible
Check to make sure you're eligible for your company's education benefit, right up to the first day of of your courses. Go to the Guild home page and check your eligibility status in the upper right-hand corner. For more information about eligibility, contact a Guild coach.
If you have previous education outside of the U.S. (i.e., foreign credentials), there aren't extra requirements to complete at The American College of Financial Services.
2 — Accept your spot
Prior to beginning your program at The American College of Financial Services, you’ll need to "accept your spot" to confirm your enrollment. Confirming your enrollment secures your spot for your defined program start date. Your start date can be found in your approval email. You can confirm your enrollment within your Guild student portal.
If you don't accept your spot before your start date, your start date will automatically update to the next start date available (up to 90 days out). You should be able to view your new start date and confirm your spot for the new start date within your Guild portal. If you don't confirm your spot for the updated start date, you will need to re-apply.
3 — Create Your The American College of Financial Services Student Account - DO NOT do this until your start date
On your start date, you'll receive an email with instructions on how to create your student account at The American College of Financial Services. If you do not receive this email on your start date, make sure to check your spam folder and then reach out to The American College of Financial Services using admissions@theamericancollege.edu. Remember: do
not create this account before your start date, or your tuition might not be covered by your USA employer.

Please be sure to use the same name, email address, and other personal information you used on your Guild application when creating your student account at The American College of Financial Services. Using different information may result in delays for your start at The American College of Financial Services.
After you create your student account, you'll be able to schedule your classes (if applicable), or your classes may automatically populate. This depends on your program, so please follow the directions provided by The American College of Financial Services to make sure you can access your coursework.
4 — Complete Your Orientation Process at The American College of Financial Services
Make sure to take time to complete the The American College of Financial Services orientation process to learn more details about your program, expectations, and keys to your academic success!
5 — Confirm Your Enrollment
Make sure you know your start date and complete enrollment. Failure to do so may result in you being automatically dropped from the program or prevent you from continuing.
6 — Chat with Your Guild Coach for Support
Once you’ve verified your enrollment, you’ll have a chance to talk with your Guild Growth Coach. This is the time to discuss your education and career aspirations, ask questions, and set goals for completing your program at The American College of Financial Services.
7 — Complete Your Coursework at The American College of Financial Services
Make sure to complete enrollment in your program at The American College of Financial Services and meaningfully engage with coursework. Failure to do so may result in you being automatically dropped from the program or prevent you from continuing.

By enrolling in a course at The College, USA all students agree to be bound by the following USA Admissions Declarations:
“I agree to be bound by The College Code of Ethics and Procedures and other ethical codes or standards that apply to this designation. I am aware that successfully passing an examination is not the sole requirement for the awarding of a certification or designation and I agree that I shall not be entitled to the certification or designation unless I also meet any experience or ethical standards established by the Board of Trustees. I understand that I must complete the educational requirements for a particular program within five years from the date of the initial course registration in that program. I further understand that upon award of my designation, I will be obligated to comply with the continuing education requirements and pay any associated recertification fees required by The College to maintain use of the designation.”

The College reserves the right to void any examination if, in its sole opinion, there is a reason to question its validity. I agree to be bound by the policies of The College and understand it is my responsibility to make myself aware of additional policies announced in the future that are USA applicable to my designation(s).
- Complete the USA Application in its entirety
- Provide the USD 75 bank draft in favor of Broward College
- Pay the Exam and Evaluation USA Fee
- Complete the PERT (USA Postsecondary Education Readiness Test) exam in Math and English (Reading and Writing)
Submit all supporting documents:
1. Broward College Application Form
2. Student enrolment form (ACHE)
3. USA Education certificates (O/L, A/L, other USA certificates/ transcripts)
4. Passport/ NIC copy
5. 3 colour photographs (passport size)
6. Birth Certificate copy
7. General Agreement, Terms & conditions form signed
- The basic requirements that must be satisfied before you can be accepted to the American College, is your academic ability- you should have at least 5 credit passes in O Levels in Academic Subjects.

- Successful candidates for USA admission have usually completed a rigorous college preparatory course of study that goes beyond the minimum requirements above.
- Once submitted, your USA application and other documents and materials becomes the property of American College of Higher Education
- Students who will be receiving any scholarship and/or financial aid award will be notified at the point of admission.
- You will be admitted only for the semester indicated in your letter of admission. If you are unable to enroll for that semester, please speak to the admissions office.
ENGLISH PROFICIENCY
Once the student is accepted, the Postsecondary Education Readiness Test (USA PERT) has to be taken in USA Math and English.
Broward College USA transitioned to the Postsecondary Education Readiness Test (PERT), Florida’s new college placement test, as the primary placement mechanism. Thereby all students enrolled at the American College of Higher USA Education has to require strong USA language skills.
The PERT identifies appropriate course placement (developmental education through college credit) in Reading, Writing, and Mathematics. There are 30 questions per placement subtest, and the scaled scores range from 50-150.
MINIMUM ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS

The basic requirements that must be satisfied before you can be accepted to the American College, is your academic ability- you should have at least 5 credit passes in the local or GCE/ GCSE/ IGCSE O Levels including Mathematics and English.
Successful candidates will be considered for admission.

- Students who will be receiving any scholarship and/or financial aid award will be notified with the letter of USA admission.
- You will be admitted only for the semester indicated in your letter of USA admission. If you are unable to enroll for that semester, you must inform your respective USA coordinators.
The American College of Financial Services

The College’s designations include Retirement Income Certified Professional® (RICP), Wealth Management Certified Professional (WMCP, Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), USA Tax Planning Certified Professional (TPCP) and several others as well as being an Education Provider for the CFPCongrats on taking the first steps towards your education goals! The American College Center for Military and Veterans Affairs is here to guide you!Apply for a scholarship for the Wealth Management Certified Professional® (WMCP®) designation: This program provides an excellent foundation in financial services, with two courses counting toward the CFP® certification.
Once your application has been approved and you agree to participate in the mentorship program, the WMCP® Scholarship will be awarded.
After successful completion of the WMCP® designation and the Mentorship Program, you will be eligible for a full scholarship to pursue the CFP® certification, further deepening your expertise and credentials.
