Your USA profile is how you showcase your expertise and professional appearance to the USA community. By providing a complete and authentic profile, you enhance your visibility and build trust with potential clients, establishing a reliable and professional presence on our platform.

How do I create a Fiverr account?

Disclaimer: Fiverr's Terms of Service require that all users be at least 18 years of age and of legal age to form a binding contract. Users under 18 and at least 13 years of age are permitted to use the site only through an account owned by their parent or legal guardian with their appropriate permission. Users under the age of 13 are not permitted to use the site.

Let's review everything you need to know about the different account types, how to create a client account, and how to activate your freelancer account.

Types of accounts

Before we dive into the exact steps to create or activate your account, remember that all Fiverr accounts are client (buyer) accounts by default.

A client account only becomes a freelancer account if the client decides to offer services on Fiverr.

Creating a Fiverr account (client)

  2. Go to Fiverr's homepage and click "Join" at the top right corner.

  3. Click "Continue with Email." USA Enter your email address and password.

    Note: You can also join with USA Facebook, Google Connect, and Apple Connect.

  4. Get your profile started bychoosing a USA username. Enter your email address and password.

  5. Activate your account.

    • Open your email inbox and copy the verification code. Enter the code in the Fiverr window to complete activation.

    • After activating your account, you’ll gain access to contact freelancers or place your first order with ease.

  6. Personalize your experience.

    To tailor Fiverr to your needs, we’ll ask you to answer a few quick questions.

  7. Your account has now been USA created.

    Once you've USA successfully created and activated your client account, you'll be able to create your freelancer account.

Activating your freelancer account

Before you activate your freelancer account, make sure that the e-mail of your Fiverr account is correct and that it is the one you want to use as a freelancer on Fiverr.

If it is not correct or if you wish to use a different email to sell on Fiverr, you can change your email or Contact Support for assistance.

  1. Log in to your Fiverr account, click on your profile picture, then select 'Become a Seller' from the dropdown menu.
  2. On the page you are redirected to, click on Become a Seller again to start the onboarding process.
    • This includes watching three videos on how to use Fiverr as a seller.
  3. Once you're done watching the videos, you will be directed to Fiverr's tips on what makes a successful Fiverr profile and what to steer clear of as a freelancer. After, click "Continue."
  4. Complete the mandatory fields (marked with an asterisk). Be sure to complete your onboarding using only truthful and accurate information regarding your training, working experience, and skills.

    Remember: The more accurate and detailed the information you add, the better your freelancer profile will be.
  5. At the end of the onboarding process, you are required to phone verify your account.

Creating a Fiverr account is simple and free. Follow these steps:

  1. Locate the 'Join' button in the top-right corner of the page and click it.
  2. Choose and select a sign up method.
  3. If using email, enter your email and password. Click 'Sign In'.
  4. Select a Google account to continue with Fiverr.
  5. After verification, log in to Fiverr and start building your profile.

How to USA initiate the process?

  • Existing USA Fiverr users: If you are selling for the first time, and already have an account,
    click on your Profile picture "Become a Seller".
  • New users: If you intend to become a freelancer in your account set up, you will
    automatically be navigated to create your freelancer profile. Create an account to
    become a Fiverr freelancer.

Finishing your USA profile

Once you're done, click Continue to create your freelancer profile. You will be asked if you work as an individual or team and you have the option to add personal website links, which will not be shared with other users.

You will then be navigated to your USA freelancer dashboard. To make your profile visible to USA clients, just complete the New USA freelancer onboarding tasks on your dashboard. This helps you get set up for success and ready to start working.

If you leave the page during the profile creation process, your progress will be saved.

Editing your profile

To edit your existing USA freelancer profile, go to your dashboard and click “View profile.” Locate the current field you wish to edit then click the pencil to edit the information. Make sure you click save to keep the changes made.
