Spotify Wrapped 2025
Spotify Wrapped 2025 has launched with a focus on deep dives into user data and social interactive features, framed as a "visual mixtape". New features include a "Listening Age" comparison tool, a "Clubs" grouping based on taste, a "Fan Leaderboard", and a live multiplayer game called "Wrapped Party".
- Design & Theme: The design theme for 2025 is a "visual mixtape," blending analog and digital aesthetics with a reduced color palette to capture the spontaneous energy of music fandom.
- Data Deep Dive: It brings back fan-favorite stats like total minutes listened, top artists, and top genres, while also adding play counts to the "Your Top Songs 2025" playlist.
New Features:
- Listening Age: Compares your music taste (based on release years of tracks you listen to most) to others in your age group.
- Clubs: Sorts listeners into one of six distinct groups based on their unique listening style.
- Wrapped Party: A new, mobile-only interactive game where users can compare their listening data with up to nine friends in real time.
- Fan Leaderboard: Ranks users among other global listeners of a specific artist, showing their super-fan status.
- Top Albums & Top Song Quiz: Features the albums users repeatedly played and an interactive quiz to guess top tracks.
- Creator Messages: Users with top artists, podcasters, and authors receive personalized video messages within their Wrapped experience.
- Global Celebration: Spotify launched 50 in-person fan destinations worldwide to celebrate the audio that defined the year, with appearances from various artists.
- Top Global Artists/Songs: Bad Bunny was the most-streamed global artist, and "Die With a Smile" by Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars was the most-streamed song.
The wait is over. It’s time to look back at the audio that defined your year with 2025 Spotify Wrapped, our annual celebration for fans, artists, creators, and authors around the world. Spotify introduced the Wrapped concept as it’s known today in 2015, and each year we’ve continued to iterate on how we bring it to life based on what our global audience tells us is most meaningful to them.
For 2025, the experience is more captivating, layered, and revealing than ever before. We’re going bigger and bolder, bringing back a few Wrapped favorites, adding in stories that users have been asking for, and introducing interactive ways to connect with and share the sounds that made your year unmistakably yours.
How to access your 2025 Wrapped
To get a personalized Wrapped experience, you need to have streamed at least 30 songs for more than 30 seconds each, and listened to at least five different artists this year. Streams from Private Mode or from songs or playlists you’ve excluded from your Taste Profile don’t count toward eligibility.

Ready to dive in? The experience is available for both Free and Premium users in nearly all markets where Spotify is live. You can find your Wrapped in the Spotify mobile app (iOS and Android). Just make sure your app is up-to-date and look for the Wrapped feed at the top of your Home screen or search “2025 Wrapped.”

This year, we’ve kept the Wrapped classics you love and added nearly a dozen new and updated ways to dig deeper into the voices and stories that shaped your year. We’re also bringing fans together with interactive features that transform your listening data into playful, shareable moments, and we’ve added new controls that let you adjust the speed of your experience and revisit specific moments without starting from the beginning.

As you explore your Wrapped, you’ll see share cards for your data stories. Simply click “share” to send them directly to your friends using Spotify Messages, or post them to your favorite social channels and let the world know what you’ve been listening to.

Minutes Listened: See the total time you spent listening across music, podcasts, and audiobooks.
Top Songs and Accompanying Playlist: See your top five songs of the year and get your personalized Your Top Songs 2025 playlist, which now shows how many times you streamed each of your top 100 tracks this year.
Top Artists: See up to your top five artists of the year.
Top Genres: This fan favorite is back to show you the genres that shaped your sound this year.
Your Artist Clip: You may receive a special thank-you message from one of your top artists right in your experience. Clips include artists like Bad Bunny, Chappell Roan, Sabrina Carpenter, sombr, and many more.

Top Podcasts: See up to your top five podcasts of the year.

- Fan Leaderboard: Think you’re one of your top artist’s biggest fans? This year, you might see where you rank among their listeners worldwide, based on your total minutes listened.
- Clubs: This story celebrates the streaming habits that defined your year. You’ll be sorted into one of six Clubs—each representing a unique listening style—and see the role you play within that community.
- Listening Archive: Finally, get personalized snapshots of your most memorable streaming days. Powered by AI, this feature delivers up to five unique reports based on your daily listening. Available in English in select markets.

We’re also launching Wrapped Party for the first time. This new interactive feature lets you enjoy your year in music live with friends and can be found at the end of your personalized experience, in the Wrapped hub in the Spotify mobile app, or by searching “Wrapped Party.”

The Wrapped feed—accessed at the top of your Home screen—is your hub for all things 2025 Wrapped. Here you can revisit your personalized data stories, explore “Best of” playlists curated by Spotify editors, and find any special messages from artists, podcasters, and authors, all in one place.
Wrapped around the globe
The celebration isn’t just digital. We’re taking Wrapped into the real world with around 50 pop-up experiences in key cities. Fans can look for activations highlighting artists like Oasis in Manchester, JENNIE in Seoul, Bad Bunny in Mexico City, Chappell Roan in New York City, and many more.
Spotify also offers personalized Wrapped experiences for artists and songwriters, podcast creators, authors, and advertisers. With access to their own individualized Wrapped microsites, they can dive into how their fans listened this year.

Spotify Wrapped celebrates the audio that defined our year, and the annual global marketing campaign that accompanies it has become a cultural moment in its own right. For 2025, the campaign is a bold, dynamic experience that brings the story of your year in listening into the real world.

Plus, we’re rolling out 50 fan destinations worldwide, giving listeners a place to come together, celebrate their year in music, and be part of something truly global.”
From the design inspiration to massive real-world installations, here’s a look at how the 2025 Wrapped campaign comes to life.
The design: A modern ‘visual mixtape’

Before streaming, mixtapes and burned CDs were the original playlists: handpicked, decorated, and shared as deeply personal gifts. The 2025 Wrapped design builds on that tradition, turning a year of listening into a bold, dynamic “visual mixtape” for more than 700 million fans around the world.
“For me, 2025 Wrapped captures that tension between chaos and clarity,” said Jeremy Wirth, Spotify’s Global Executive Creative Director. “Every gradient and texture reflects that unpredictable mix of emotion and rhythm that makes listening so personal. It’s our most expressive Wrapped yet, and I love that it feels stripped down with the reduced color palette and bold use of images to feel simple and super modern.”
Layered with texture and mixing analog and digital aesthetics, the design captures the spontaneous, authentic energy of music fandom in a way only Spotify can. As part of this, we’re also bringing back our special Wrapped-edition logos. For this campaign, we put a creative spin on our brand guidelines, reimagining the Spotify logo in the spirit of the year’s most popular songs and artists. Try to identify any of those below.
The campaign: Immersive real-world experiences
The Wrapped creative campaign is live in more than 30 markets globally as Spotify moves beyond traditional billboards to create immersive experiences that celebrate the artists who defined 2025. Throughout the globe, fans will see around 50 installations and pop-ups that bring Wrapped’s digital storytelling into the real world, complete with artist integrations, interactive photo moments, and even some live performances for top listeners.
These activations include a giant paw installation on Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro celebrating Lady Gaga, an 800-foot cascade of vibrant red hair taking over New York City’s Union Square subway stop to pay homage to Chappell Roan’s hit single “The Subway,” and a Ferrari parade through Paris, ending with a top-fan performance by GIMS.
For 2025, the Spotify x FC Barcelona partnership spotlights the players—including Jules Koundé, Marcus Rashford, Pedri, Aitana Bonmatí, and Alexia—in a new way, sharing their personalities and listening habits with fans. Wrapped billboards across Barcelona will showcase how the team listened this year. The partnership will also feature a special Wrapped Party where teammates compare their stats and playlists, giving fans an inside look at the music that fuels the team.
